Tallinn Christmas Market at Town Hall Square

When: December 1, 2023, to January 7, 2024

Traditionally opening on the Town Hall Square of Tallinn, the Tallinn Christmas Market boasts the most important Christmas tree in Estonia. Dating back to 1441, it is the first Christmas tree ever displayed in Europe.

Local vendors will offer Estonian Christmas cuisine, handmade gifts, and festive treats. The market will be accompanied by a range of activities for young visitors, including carousel rides and Christmas programs.

Rotermann Christmas Market and Coca-Cola Caravan

Kicking off on December 1st, the Rotermann Christmas Market on the main square of the Rotermann Quarter promises a wide array of Christmas flavours from around the world. The market will feature a rich program of events and entertainment for the whole family. Click here for Facebook event.

The grand opening ceremony on December 1st at 4:00 PM will be accompanied by the arrival of the world-famous Christmas caravan from Coca-Cola, journeying from Lapland to Tallinn.

The market will be open daily from December 1, 2023, to January 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Christmas Wonderland in Iglupark and 1st Advent in Noblessner

When: December 2, 2023, to January 7, 2024 Thu-Fri 16-22 and Sat-Sun 12-22 (closed 22-24.12)

On December 3rd at 4:00 PM on the main square, there will be lighting of a Christmas tree designed by Shishi and popular Christmas Land in Iglupark will be opened.

Christmas Wonderland in Tondiraba Park

When: December 21, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Join the winter festivities on December 21st at Tondiraba Park in Lasnamäe District. The event is free and includes colourful installations, light effects, and a concert with well-known artists.

Christmas Wonderland in Pirita

When: December 3, 10, 17, 2023

The popular “Christmas Land” event, which attracted many visitors last year, will take place in different locations this year: Merivälja Park, Kose Park, and the ruins of the Pirita Monastery. This family-friendly event will feature concerts, captivating performances, and various workshops.

Christmas Village at the Estonian Open Air Museum

When: December 16-17, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

The Estonian Open Air Museum invites everyone to be part of a bright Christmas time from different eras. A Christmas market around the tavern, adorned with a Christmas tree, and a wooden carousel for children will create a festive atmosphere. Santa Claus will stroll around the tavern, listening to beautiful songs and poems.

Christmas Wonderland at Põhjala Factory

When: December 17, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Põhjala Factory invites you to enjoy the Christmas season as the entire quarter transforms into a cozy Christmas town. A week before sitting down to the Christmas table, you can choose Christmas treats or create something special for your loved ones at workshops. Santa Claus will also make an appearance!

Christmas Wonderland in Põhja-Tallinn

When: Advent Sundays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Every Advent Sunday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the Põhja-Tallinn beach park opens its Christmas Wonderland. On the second Advent, a large Christmas market will take place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Additionally, on December 10th, Pelgulinna Square will host a Christmas Eve event, and on December 16th, there will be a Christmas Eve on Vana-Kalamaja Street.

Christmas Market in Haabersti

When: December 15, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

On Friday, December 15th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Haabersti on the shores of Lake Väike-Õismäe will host a winter concert and market featuring products from local artisans and craftswomen, along with gastronomic delights.
